ARCHIPELAGO SPECIAL EFFECTS

Archipelago Special Effects provides the full range of physical, mechanical, pyrotechnic and atmospheric special effects.  We also have special effects and workshop equipment available to rent at the studios including smoke, haze and wind machines, rain towers, water pumps, hoses, compressed air equipment and general workshop machinery.

Archipelago is led by Adam Howarth, a British special effects supervisor with 30 years’ experience in the industry, and who has been based in SE Asia for last 15 years.  He is the only member of the Institute of Explosives Engineers to be based in Malaysia.

Adam supervised the special effects on both seasons of the Netflix show Marco Polo at IMS and has just completed his second season supervising the special effects for the HBO/Cinemax show “Strike Back”.  We have also provided effects for other shows in Malaysia including “Blackhat”, “Reborn”, “Our Girl” and “The Ghost Bride”.
